The following article was taken from Fox News. However, before reading it, I would like to make a few comments:
1. First of all, we should not belittle the death of Travon Martin because the loss of any human life is tragic. Though Zimmerman was found innocent in court, no one won. His life is forever in shambles, Travon’s parent’s lives will never be the same and our country is again more divided under Obama
2. How convenient for Holder to take a stand on the issue. It seems he is all too eager to divert the attention away from his and his department’s scandals. No Holder, we have not forgotten about Benghazi and your other failures. No matter how much you filibuster the Martin case, you have failed in your position.
3. Also, how insane is it that Holder wants the Florida’s self-defense laws taken off the books. What should a person do if he is attacked? Stand there and do nothing? This is America. We stand our ground and stand up for our rights. Did we stand our ground after Pearl Harbor? No, of course not.
US National Debt
Pic of the Day
The irony is that without his teleprompter, Obama is like a deer in headlights. In this time of world crisis and economic uncertainty, we need a president who can do more than just give a good speech. We need someone to tackle the problem head on- not someone who plays golf while the rest of his cabinet are on million dollar yachts. We need someone with real ideas and real plans to implement them. Unfortunately, we’re left with a bunch of hot air and rhetoric. Keep talking Obama; there’ less people listening every day.
Remember former President Theodore Roosevelt’s slogan: “Talk softly but carry a big stick”? Well, I’ve coined a new term for Obama’s foreign policy: “Speak loudly and carry a small stick”. Take away all his rhetoric and all you are left with is a deflated balloon. As Obama’s foreign policy continues disintegrate before our eyes it should not come as a surprise. Remember his initial apology tour and him bowing down to the Saudi King among other world leaders?
The US is no longer taking an active role in foreign policy. Some say that is a good thing but as we look around the globe, the outcomes are irrefutable. Unfortunately, as history repeatedly teaches us, countries don’t play nicely together. It is a simple as that. There needs to be a leader-someone to take control and keep peace. The UN can’t do it nor do I ever foresee that it will. Under President Bush the world watched our actions. Now, we watch in trepidation the world’s actions. The biggest question remains: can the world survive another 3 years of Obama without collapsing?
Zimmerman Riot
Are we in store for a Rodney King style riot after Zimmerman’s verdict is decided? Has the NBC editing of Zimmerman’s calls set the stage for unnecessary rioting, looting and needless killing. Has the media’s insistence on playing the race card throughout their coverage fueled the flames that were lit by NBC’s unscrupulous reporting? Has Facebook and other liberal outlets kept this fresh in America’s minds since the story broke?
When North Korea is vowing nuclear attacks, the IRS is targeting conservative groups. Obama is coving up his blunders in Benghazi, our economy is tanking and our debt rises, why has this story become the backbone of the liberal media’s coverage? The answer is simple. By using buzz words, playing on people’s emotions and chanting race like they were Paul Revere, the media is taking attention away from what is really happening here is America. Our government is crumbling before our eyes. Obama has thrown out the Constitution, bills by the Senate are being passed with so much pork that it raises your cholesterol just by reading it, the economy is tanking and our foreign policy has reverted back to the pitiful days of Jimmy Carter. In the end, the media doesn’t want people to realize the policies of the Democrats are failures, their leaders are crazy and that they are bankrupting the country. They’ve blinded most of America to the truth.
The media is supposed too be unbiased. A free press was set forth by our founding fathers to ensure an additional checks and balance system to the government. That checks and balance is long gone. And our founding fathers were right. Without it America is crumbling before our eyes, leaving our children just a shell of the prosperity we all enjoyed when we were kids.
In the end, the Zimmerman verdict will eventually end in riots-no matter what the verdict. Congratulations liberal media. This is what you created.
Has Government Become Too Big?
Has government become too large? Has regulations and taxes bogged us down so much in America that it makes it difficult to do anything? Has the government infiltrated just about the every part of your life?
Well if you haven’t answered yes to these questions, you probably don’t live in the USA. Unfortunately, the size of government and their regulations has made it difficult to a accomplish anything constructive without getting a headache while doing do. Has anyone ever put an addition on their house or attempted to start a business lately. Well, if you have you know exactly what I’m talking about.
If you haven’t, how about just looking at the cell phone bill. You ever ask what some of those fees are that you never heard of? Yes, they are government taxes that are mandated to every paying customer with a cell phone. Those that aren’t paying get them for free while we pay the price. Why not. Share the wealth. Even the playing field. What’s mine is yours. What’s yours is yours.
Sometimes I simply have to laugh at how ridiculous things have become. So I don’t get everybody down reading this blog I added this humorous short story:
In the year 2013, the Lord came unto Noah, Who was now living in America and said:
“Once again, the earth has become wicked and over-populated, and I see
the end of all flesh before me.”
“Build another Ark and save 2 of every living thing along with a few
good humans.”He gave Noah the blueprints, saying:
“You have 6 months to build the Ark before I will start the unending rain for 40 days and 40 nights.”
Six months later, the Lord looked down and saw Noah weeping in his yard
– but no Ark. “Noah!,” He roared, “I’m about to start the rain! Where is
the Ark?”
“Forgive me, Lord,” begged Noah, “but things have changed.”
“I needed a Building Permit.”
“I’ve been arguing with the Boat Inspector about the need for a
sprinkler system.”
“My homeowners association claim that I’ve violated the
Neighborhood by-laws by building the Ark in my back yard and exceeding
the height limitations. We had to go to the local Planning Committee
for a decision.”
“Then the City Council and the Electricity Company demanded a shed load
of money for the future costs of moving power lines and other overhead
obstructions, to clear the passage for the Ark’s move to the sea. I
told them that the sea would be coming to us, but they would hear none
of it.”
“Getting the wood was another problem. There’s a ban on cutting local
trees in order to save the Greater Spotted Barn Owl.”
“I tried to convince the environmentalists that I needed the wood to
save the owls – but no go!”
“When I started gathering the animals, PETA took me to court. They
insisted that I was confining wild animals against their will. They
argued the accommodations were too restrictive and it was cruel and
inhumane to put so many animals in a confined space.”
“Then the Environmental Protection Agency ruled that I couldn’t build
the Ark until they’d conducted an environmental impact study on Your
proposed flood.”
“I’m still trying to resolve a complaint with the Human Rights
Commission on how many minorities I’m supposed to hire for my building
crew.”
“The Immigration Dept. Is checking the visa status of most of the
people who want to work.”
“The labor unions say I can’t use my sons. They insist I have to hire
only union workers with ark-building experience.”
“To make matters worse, the IRS seized all my assets, claiming I’m
trying to leave the country illegally with endangered species.”
“So, forgive me, Lord, but it would take at least 10 years for me to
finish this ark.”
“Suddenly the skies cleared, the sun began to shine and a rainbow
stretched across the sky.”
Noah looked up in wonder and asked, “You mean you’re not going to
destroy the world?”
Obama supports Morsi
What Obama thinks of Americans
The truth of Obamacare
I am a physician and graduated med school 15 years ago. Many patients ask me what I think about Obamacare. I simply tell them to make up their own mind:
First, I mention that the IRS will be running the program
Second, I tell them that the total bill for Obamacare is now triple (and growing) from what was initially calculated- and that these numbers were taken off of economists on liberal TV news agencies
Third, I point out that if they enjoy going to the DMV, they’ll really enjoy the doctor’s office of tomorrow (as long as you don’t work for congress)
Fourth, I point out that the US government will be in control of 1/6th of our economy. And if they like how Amtrak or the post office is run, they’ll be thrilled to see what’s in store for us Americans.
Though I have 10 more points to make, I don’t want everyone leaving my office in a state of depression and stop at four.
The truth is clearly in front of us what is in store for America. Now is not the time to put your head in the dirt. We must all become Tired Americans to save our country!
Fall of Democracy
University of Edinburgh , had this to say about the fall of the
Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior: “A democracy is always
temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent
form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until
the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous
gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority
always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from
the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally
collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a
dictatorship.”
“The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations from the
beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200
years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:
From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage.”
The Obituary follows:
Born 1776, Died 2012
It doesn’t hurt to read this several times.
Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in
St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning
the last Presidential election:
Number of States won by: Obama: 19 Romney: 29
Square miles of land won by: Obama: 580,000 Romney: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million Romney: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by:
Professor Olson adds: “In aggregate, the map of the territory
Romney won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.
Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low
income tenements and living off various forms of government
welfare…”
Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the
“complacency and apathy” phase of Professor Tyler’s definition of
democracy, with some forty percent of the nation’s population
already having reached the “governmental dependency” phase..
If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million
criminal invaders called illegal’s – and they vote – then we can say
goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years
If you are in favor of this, then by all means, delete this message.
If you are not, then pass this along to help everyone realize just how
much is at stake, knowing that apathy is the greatest danger to our
freedom..
