Governor Romney in Israel

What does America stand for now? That is the question I was pondering after watching Governor Romney’ visits to England and Israel. Unlike Obama, Governor Romney clearly states to us Americans and the world his foreign policy plans. He was quoted in Israel as saying:
“Make no mistake, the ayatollahs in Iran are testing our moral defenses,” Romney said. They want to know who will object and who will look the other way. We will not look away nor will our country ever look away from our passion and commitment to Israel. … We recognize Israel’s right to defend itself.”
Now, let’s contrast this to Obama’s stance. Well, to begin with, it’s a difficult thing to do. First of all, because Obama doesn’t want to make anybody feel bad or disenfranchised, he takes no clear posture on the issue. Instead he waffles with his poll numbers and tries to appease everybody instead of making a commitment. It’s like he doesn’t know how to lead. Instead, he lets popular opinion decide his Israeli policy. He has clearly not come out in favor of Israeli security and in fact said they should return to their old, non-defendable borders. And the most cowardly thing he does when he attempts to help Israel is leak the information along with other American secrets to the media. Is this some sort of joke? President Reagan would roll over in his grave if he knew how Obama disgraced the oval office.
Also ask yourself about Obama’s commitment to NATO. Does he see England, Poland or the other members as allies or just a bunch of civilized Western countries that have enslaved the world with their capitalistic and expansionistic ideas? Does he hold animosity toward them for their past? Does he view the Muslim world as America’s true allies? Well, he’s certainly not showing any endearment to Poland when he scrapped President Bush’s plans for a missile defense shield there. What’s Poland and its neighboring countries to do in case of a missile attack?  Ask nicely for them to go away and try to reason with the enemy?
In stark contrast to the weak president we have now, Governor Romney fully supports NATO and the missile defense plan. He also supports a strong military and abhors Obama’s cuts to the armed forces during an ongoing time of war. He knows that the enemy respects only one thing- and that thing is strength. President Reagan knew this and history clearly shows us what happened to the former USSR as a result.
The bottom line is, if you want to vote for somebody who supports our allies, respects our troops, will lead the country with dignity and return America to greatness, vote for Governor Romney. If you want to wallow in mediocrity and see our country speaking Chinese, vote for Obama.
