Not many people remember Paul Harvey. In fact, I never knew much about him until recently when I came across one of his recordings. For all those that are unfamiliar with him, let me explain. He was a radio broadcaster for ABC Radio from the 1950’s through the 1990’s. Well respected, trusted and admired by many, though conservative, his broadcasts were never demonized and ridiculed as they would be in today.
The above recording struck me as extremely compelling. Although recorded 50 years ago, it accurately describes what is going on today. In fact, when I first heard the broadcast, I thought someone facetiously wrote that it was 50 years old. If you have not heard it, please listen to it and take his message to heart. It’s more compelling the more times you listen to it.
